Mixed Metals

The color of copper after oxidation has been one of my favorites. Learning to marry it with silver has had its own set of perils. They melt at nearly the same temperature, so solder flows consistently, but copper is not as elastic as silver so it snaps easier and also is tougher to texture. I am working on mixing brass, copper, and sterling and coming up with some nice pieces. I will continue to add mixed metal pieces as I design them.
