This is a designer cut cab that has fantastic plumes of black over a light blue background. Each little black branch is easily visible and they all lean the same way. I set this stone with my seamless look bezel and trimmed the base of the stone with two swirls and a 4mm moonstone cab. I have lightly oxidized the setting to enhance the color of the stone. This is a great example of a plume agate. The lapidary I bought this from told me it was mined in Texas.
