This ring is made from the entire demitasse spoon. After heating the spoon and flattening the bowl, I rolled the whole thing around the mandrel and soldered the decorative top part onto the flattened bowl. The stem of the spoon makes a smooth narrow band for the ring. The front is large because it is the entire spoon bowl. The "J" monogram is clear on the spoon handl making this a great ring for someone who can use a J or someone who appreciates the quality of fine flatware that is probably 100 years old. I polished this ring to a high shine. I tried it on my pointer finger and it looked great there. But as we all know ladies we wear our rings on any finger we want to, right?!
