The mixing of metals has been an exciting thing for me this spring. I found some great copper chain and had to find a way to incorporate it with a mixed metal pendant. This is the set that just sort of evolved out in the shop. The sterling twisted swirl is soldered onto the stamped copper plate. It is oxidized to show the design better. Then I soldered on a sterling bail. The chain is divided into sections with sterling links made with beads and 20 ga. wire. I used a copper toggle as the closure.
Earrings are the same sterling beads strung on hand made copper head pins.
