This pendant is made from a really ornate little demitasse spoon handle. I set a 6mm round paua shell in a serrated bezel setting. Instead of curving the handle for the bail I added a small bail on the back to save the beautiful handle. I tumbled this piece for a high shine and did not oxidize it. I decided the white look of the clean sterling was very pretty with the pink stone. The back is nearly as pretty as the front. The chain is switchable****
